Moves one square forward, or two from its starting square. Captures diagonally. On the far rank, choose queen, rook, bishop, or knight.
Moves in an L: two squares one way and one sideways. It is the only piece that can jump over others.
Slides diagonally any distance. Each bishop remains on its starting color throughout the game.
Slides horizontally or vertically. Rooks thrive on open files and participate in castling.
Combines rook and bishop movement. Powerful, but early queen adventures can lose time to attacks.
Moves one square in any direction and may never move into check. Checkmate ends the game.
Check means the king is attacked and must be made safe immediately. Checkmate is check with no legal escape. Stalemate is no legal move while not in check, producing a draw.
Move the king two squares toward an unmoved rook when neither has moved, the path is empty, and the king is not in, passing through, or entering check. The rook crosses to the other side automatically.
When an enemy pawn advances two squares and lands beside yours, you may capture it as though it advanced one square—but only immediately on the next move.
A pawn reaching the far rank opens a touch-friendly promotion chooser for queen, rook, bishop, or knight. Underpromotion is fully legal and synchronized online.
Stalemate, threefold repetition, the fifty-move rule, common insufficient-material positions, and mutually accepted online draws are supported.
The move log uses Standard Algebraic Notation (SAN), including captures, castling, promotion, check, and checkmate. Games can be exported as PGN.
Control the center, develop knights and bishops, castle, connect your rooks, protect loose pieces, and ask what your opponent threatens before every move.
Fork: one piece attacks multiple targets. Pin: a piece cannot move without exposing something more valuable. Skewer: attack a valuable piece so the piece behind it becomes vulnerable. Discovered attack: moving one piece reveals another attacker.
Each drill puts a real legal position on the board. Make the requested move; the rules engine verifies it.
Connect to your group's chess service, invite a friend, and continue the same match on another device. AutiTech does not run a public chess service yet, so online play needs the address of a service someone in your group hosts. Every other mode works without it.

Games save after every move. Name a save to keep a favorite position. Online checkpoints open as independent practice games.

Preview freely. Try each unowned pack for two games online, then keep playing with the free armies or purchase the pack permanently. A trial counts after its first legal move; saved games can resume. There is no automatic charge.
The free game works without an account. Purchases belong to your game account across supported devices. Children need a parent's approval for online play.
